Applies to: Musaic Player (package com.musaic.mp), published by Solder3t.

By installing or using Musaic Player ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should uninstall the App immediately.

1. Description of Service

Musaic Player is a free, local-first music player for Android. It scans audio files stored on your device and provides playback, library management, EQ tools, widgets, and taste-based organization features. The App optionally connects to the internet to fetch song lyrics, verify billing, support local-network listening features, or perform user-invoked AI features such as romanization and EQ assistance.

2. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the legality of any audio files stored on your device.
• You must grant the required permissions for the App to function (media access).
• You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where permitted by applicable law or the App's open-source license.

3. Third-Party Services

When specific features are enabled or used (for example Online Lyrics, AI Romanization, AI EQ Assistant, or Google Play Billing), the App communicates with third-party providers.

• We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party services.
• Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
• You are responsible for compliance with each AI provider's API usage terms, including rate limits and acceptable use policies.
• API keys are stored locally on your device; Solder3t does not collect or have access to your keys.

4. Musaic Pro & Listen Together

Certain features of the App are locked behind the Musaic Pro tier, which requires a one-time purchase.

• Purchase Model: Musaic Pro is a one-time, lifetime purchase. All transactions are handled by Google Play Billing.
• Feature Scope: Musaic Pro currently includes premium widgets, Auto EQ, AI EQ Assistant, advanced lyric modes, AI provider integration, smart playlists, Listen Together hosting, custom palettes, premium player UI styles, and artwork-driven theming.
• Trial Period: New users are granted an 11-day free trial of Musaic Pro. We use non-identifiable device identifiers to manage and prevent abuse of this trial period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are managed exclusively through the Google Play Store. Solder3t does not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
• Listen Together: This feature allows local P2P music sharing. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to share and stream audio content with others on your network.
• Feature Changes: Pro features may evolve over time as the App is updated, replaced, improved, or reorganized.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, its source code, design assets, and branding are the proprietary intellectual property of Solder3t. No part of the application or its source code may be reproduced, distributed, or modified without explicit written permission from the developer. Audio files on your device remain your property and are not claimed by us.

6. Disclaimer & Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solder3t shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including data loss or device malfunction.
